Request change of name at N-400 interview?

3 posts in this topic

I'm scheduled for my N-400 interview next week.

I would like to request a legal change of name at the same time as my naturalization. However, I had not decided on this at the time I submitted my application.

Is it still possible to make this request during the interview? If so, will it entail a further delay to my oath-taking, assuming my application is approved?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer info or advice.
