Yes most likely will be for May! But hey that's okay cause it gives you a little more time to get your medical and everything done. I hope you get one for early May because I was hoping for early April but ended up at the very end of it! But I guess none of thay is really in our hands anyways. Lol. Good luck to you guys!

Hey diyap.... were there problems with your case that it was such a long journey? I guess yours will now be an IR1 instead of CR1 at this point which is good. I hope things move quickly from here on in for you!!

Well I have no clue for one year that USCIS is going to refuse my marriage certificate as it was not typed. Than we had to hire a lawyer and talke with many local officers (iI forgot what do u call them.. may b public attorney helping people like us)

And than agian submitted a new one and may be the whole process at USCIS started. I don't understand why they can't inform us early if that was the case.

Well yes it makes my case IR1.. and good to hear that things will be faster for me.. I still have mixed emotions. . Can't believe my journey is in one of its final stages.

Hey my interview is on 6th may and biometrics appointment on 5th may.

Where did he got his medical done.. I mean you guys are from which part of india?

My husband is from Gujarat, so he got his medical done in Surat if any of you guys are from there than Surat is where you will go for medical. Apollo hospital I believe is what it is called. There is a link on that P4 letter where I think it takes you to visa website where you can select India & they have a breakdown of which state has which hospitals you can get the medical done at. My husband just called the hospitals number and was able to schedule an appointment pretty quickly. it was very simple process just a long wait at the hospital he said. They gave him 4 vaccines and one needs to be given a month after the first one so he is going back on April 20th for that vaccine. Advice for this is please try to make your medical appointments as soon as possible. My husband said typically you have to wait a month before second round but if you don't have that much time they will give it to you sooner. Although vaccines are different for certain ages but just a reminder lol.

Oh okay, yeah my husband lives too far from Ahmedabad lol. Just an hour from Surat so that was easier. You should be fine, I'm sure they will explain the vaccines to you once you get there. My husband got his medical packet same day. Couple hours after he finished the medical he went to the hospital after finishing a few errands and it was ready for him.
