Hello All,

My husband is currently residing in India, however, he is from Nepal. His interview will be scheduled in US embassy in New Delhi, India whenever Visa is available. Right now we are collecting documents, however, Indian Police has denied to provide him the PCC (Police Clearance Certificate )as he holds Nepali Passport. He has been living and working in India for more than 6 years. Any suggestions?

Hi Subi,

I would suggest if you can request NVC that the interview to schedule your husband interview in Kathmandu US Embasssy, as such Nepalese don't need residence visa to work and stay in India.

Marriage: 10/10/2013.

Pay IV Bill: 08 May 2015

Checklist: 19 June 2015 [ Non-submission of DS260]

Submitted DS260: 08 July 2015

Case Completed at NVC: 08 Sep 2015

Interview Date: 05 Nov 2015
