Had to do my biometrics again...

Is this normal? I originally did my biometrics in July 2014. I arrived on a K1 visa end of June and married within the first week. We filed AOS and got my AP/EAD in September. We recently received a letter in the mail with an appointment. I thought nothing of it and assumed it was our interview letter. The day before the appointment, my husband read the letter again and pointed out how this is a biometrics appointment.

I did go and re-do my biometrics (1st in July and second in February). My online case status has not updated and still says "In July we accepted your fingerprint fee" etc. Does anyone know why this happened? Should I call and ask whether I'm delayed in my GC? We haven't taken our honeymoon yet and are hoping to do that in the next few months... I know that I can travel on my AP but it's not a "fool proof" way.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Thank you!
