Re-check everything, then one check for 1070. and in about 60 days you will get a combo card with AP/EAD on same card, if that is what you seek.

Gc will come in about 5-6 months, and your interview might be waived, my wife's was.

Raven, this sub-forum is for those filing AOS from Student, Tourist or Work Visas.

Those in this category do not get the waiver like some do who adjust from K-1 as your wife did.

10 YEAR GREEN CARD PROCESS

July 22, 2017  ROC packet sent to Vermont.

July 24, 2017  ROC packet signed for in Vermont.

August 8, 2017  NOA received at house.  15 days since ROC signed for in VSC.

August 12, 2017 ASC appointment received. 19 days since ROC in VSC.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

CITIZENSHIP PROCESS

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

May 9, 2019     Certificate of Naturalization and Citizenship returned in mail.

Hi, so sorry to hear this happened to you. This happened to me too but I got all the fee's wrong ... they just missed my I-485 check! i put both of them in separate envelopes; one came back opened and stamped and the other envelope was unopened!!! Idiots ... I am also told they give a rejection notice for EVERYTHING even if it was just one thing you got wrong.

I would recommend doing 2 checks (a lawyer advised me to do this) but just paperclip them onto the first page of your packet so they see it clearly. Just resubmit everything as is but with the correct fee's in an obvious and easy to see place.

We sent off our packet over a month ago. It was just returned to us, with all of our forms denied because of an incorrect filing fee. We wrote a check for each of the following:

1050 for I-485

420 for I-130

380 for I-765

360 for I-131

I just checked the instructions for each form.. and this all is RIGHT. please guys help, our time to file this is already running out, and we thought we nailed it the first time. Does anyone know what is going on?!

Pre AOS

September 2011: Comes to the US for a year study abroad
August 2013: Returns to the US (went back to the UK to finish my undergraduate in 2012) and starts master's degree program
December 2014: Get married to my now husband after being together for 6 years :)
AOS
January 2015: Starts working on application
02/10/15: I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 received by lockbox
02/23/15: AOS returned because they couldn't find my I-485 check ... bloody ********
02/24/15: AOS mailed back out
02/27/15: AOS delivered to Chicago Lockbox
03/06/15: Case accepted and routed to USCIS NBC (National Benefits Center) for processing
03/09/15: Checks cashed by USCIS
03/14/15: Hard copies received in the mail for NOA1 for I-485, I-131 & I-765 (waiting on I-130)
03/21/15: Received notice for biometrics, scheduled April 3rd
3/23/15: Received RFE :(
04/03/15: Went and did my fingerprints
04/11/15: Supporting evidence for RFE for Initial Evidence received by USCIS
04/20/15: Case status online for I-485 updated to 'ready to schedule interview' :)
5/14/15: EAD approved
5/16/15: Received notice for interview, scheduled for July 7th! (moved from June 17th)
5/21/15: Received EAD
7/7/15: Had interview
9/2/15: Received my green card! :)
