waiting K1 visa approval outside USA

Hello everyone,

I just filed my I129F petition for my fiancé but I need to go outside USA for probably 4 mounts so I have to quit my job. I was wondering do I have to be in USA in order to provide prove for financial support and can I use my bank account and tax returns from previous years?I would greatly appreciate any response?

It will take about 4-5 months for you to get your NOA2 if you are being processed through the TSC. You will need to prove financial support at the time of the interview, which is probably going to be mid 2015 for you guys. At that point, unless you are self employed they will ask for current paystubs and tax returns 2012, 2013, 2014. You can use your bank account but I believe to qualify on bank account alone your savings have to be substantial.

Thank you for your responce.Do you know how much estimately I should have in my account and also how old should be the pay stubs

If using savings I believe it has to be three times the required income.

You could also consider using a cosponsor. as it helps everyone answer your questions more specifically to you
