I was browsing this forum yesterday and saw a couple of questions on speeding tickets. Then I went back and read the N-400 again and realized that I misinterpreted the infamous question #23. My interpretation was that if the traffic violation was not a DUI etc..I did not need to mention it. I now realize that it says what I didn't need to provide was court documents

The last speeding ticket I have is from 2008 or 2009, quite frankly don't remember. However, I had one of those lawyers that successfully got this case and 2 prior to that dismissed. My understanding was that when it is dismissed it doesn't appear on my driver license. This happened in a different state than the one I currently reside in. Should I contact that state/county and try to find a paper trail that shows the cases were dismissed?

Prior to date the ticket that I paid without the case being dismissed was in 2005 or 2006. Should I do the same thing?

Any idea on if I should collect try to collect these documents and just explain to the I/O during my interview? Or maybe bring it with me for my biometrics and ask them if I can amend my file? Schedule an info pass?

Any help will be appreciated

Thank you

They will give you a chance to correct it at the interview, you can contact the city court to obtain copy of court order. If you had a lawyer before, contact them they can help. Good luck.
