Good Day. I have a special case that I haven't seen on any of the topics that I've read here and I was hoping someon could help me or at least tell me what to do... Here goes...

My family immigrated from the Philippines back in April of 2004. My mom was hired in St. Luke's Hospital and by that time they still gave out visas for family members so that's how me, my 2 brothers and parents got here to Texas.

By 2008, I went back to the Philippines to take up Nursing for 4 years. At that time, we didn't know about the Reentry permit, so I just decided to go back to the US BEFORE I reach the maximum of 1 Year stay outside the country (for example I left april 22, 2008 then I went back to the US on April 18 or 19 of 2009...so technically it didn't reach the 1 year mark.).

I did that every year, only staying in the US for a maximum of 1-2 weeks (just to get my passport stamped for the "proof" of me being back in the US BEFORE it became one year) for 4 years until i graduated back in 2012. I went back to the US for good on Sept. 20th of 2012.

On November 20, 2014, I went back to the Philippines to marry the love of my life. Then got back here in the US on Dec. 13, 2014.

And all of these things happened with me still being a green card holder. Someone suggested that I marry her, then file for I-130 ASAP ( which is this month) while applying for my citizenship at the same time so that by the time i become a citizen in 6 months, i can just ask for an adjustment of status for her petition.

The thing about my eligibility for citizenship is also a blur to me. You see, i came back here in the US for good on Sept. 20 2012. So my requirment for "30 month continuous stay" was supposed to be fulfilled on March 20, of 2015. But I left for the philippines back in november-december of 2014 so lets say i've been gone a month. So my 30 month continuous stay should be done by april 20, 2015. They told me I can submit my requirements/application for citizenship 3 months before i fulfilled my requirement. So that would be Feb. 20, 2015.

I've been a permanent resident since 2004 so the 5 year requirement as a permanent resident is not a problem. But they told me that I need some proof that I didn't abandon my status back then when I went back to the Philippines for school.

I know this is all jumbled up and everything but can someone please help me? Like make sense in my predicament? I don't really have a specific question but can someone just please maybe step by step tell me what I really need to do and what may be wrong with my situation or whatever you guys can comment? :crying:
