I sent in a packet, one for my wife and one for my step son to NVC AT the end of September. I got the notice saying that the NVC a at received both of them (2 separate notices) and to wait 60 days for them to be reviewed.. Beginning of December I got a notice that there was an error on my wife's affidavit of support, correct the error send it back... Nothing about my step-son... Corrected the error, sent it back.. Beginning of February: got a message that my wife's case was complete at NVC and we'd be notified about an interview... Nothing on my step-son... Is there somewhere that I can find out the status of my son's case IMMEDIATELY? It's Sunday in Japan and I'm going crazy! I can't get in touch with NVC until Monday 07 eastern standard time!!

Nothing before 7th sorry

But one thing you could do. Log on at ceac website and check if AOS fees paid is changed from paid to N/A. that is the only thing tells you that your's step son case is completed
