I know this has been discussed before and sorry for the post but I find the search options hard sometimes to toggle through all the findings..

Basic question I have documents in spanish that need to be translated into english.. Birth Certificate and Divorce documents.

Do these need to be certified or notarized? Or can I have a friend who is fluent in both languages, reading, writing and speaking translate them?

Will I get an RFE??? I am trying to prevent and RFE and want to get this completed and submitted by Friday before the massive amounts of new applications come in for the immigrations.

2nd go round

1st K-1 Denied

Subitted Feb 2-6-15

NOA1 - 2-18-15

NOA2 - 8-18-15

Interview 11-25-15 - Denied

And Here we go again -

New K1 submitted - 1-9-16

NOA1 - 1-12-16 (according to USCIS)

Text received 1-15-16

hardcopy - not received yet as of 1-26-16
