Hi all,

I just received three emails and my husband three text messages from USCIS stating that my "case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center...." Etc etc and I should receive my NOA1/I-797 soon.

All six emails and texts had the same receipt number and when I checked this number on my case status online it stated that this is the receipt number for my EAD work permit application. Should I not have got a different number for the I-485 form too or is it following? I don't know how they process the forms in these offices whether they get split up and have certain people work on I-765 and others on I-485 so therefore you get receipt numbers at different times?

I did not apply for AP.

Anyone else experienced this?

You should have 3 total receipt #s. 1 for AOS, 1 for EAD, & 1 for AP.

Edit: Just read you didn't apply for AP. So in your case, you should have 2 receipt #s.
