Please help! Spousal visa military records confusion!

Hello, all!

I have often stumbled upon these boards while looking up questions I've had throughout this process, but this is my first time posting and I'm hoping someone can help!

We are in the process of immigrating my husband here from Cyprus. I am living in Phoenix (impatiently) awaiting his arrival. We begun this process March 2014, and in November we submitted all of our financial documentation to the NVC for review. I finally heard back today, and of course they need something else from us (Grrrr), Of all things, they need his official military records. I'm confused by this because we did send documentation from the National Guard in Cyprus stating when he began and finished his duty. (2 years in the army is required in Cyprus for all men when they turn 18). I'm just very confused at what else we need this documentation to say?!?! I tried calling the NVC (lol) and was not surprised to hear a busy tone (again), and last time I e-mailed them they got back to me over a month later. My husband is going to the military office in Nicosia tomorrow on his lunch break, so any and all help/advice would be greatly appreciated! We need to get this show on the road, I'm solo-parenting an almost 8 month old that misses her Daddy! Thank you in advance!

Yes, that is exactly what was submitted, NLR! We didn't submit a copy either, it was the original, certified document.

Is there something that I'm missing?!?
