I was reading today about some new visa rules and regulations for us ole boys going to Russia. Maybe my hillbilly mind was warped from to much morse code coming from my ham radios today because I couldn't seem to get a handle on everything.

Could anyone comnent on this or do I need to go to bed earlier tonight and read it again tomorrow?

Larry, you trying to play mind games with me

That looks like something one those super code jerk jockies is sending and then copying with a MJF code reader making all of us listening thinks he's a super code copying hero and probably can't copy more than 5 words a minute. Course he's probably useing one of those $12,000.00 rigs with a supper pro keyer with memory that he's stored all his vitals in and just hits the go gitum ole boy buttom...while I'm still po white trash with a FT-101ZD bought in 1979 and a bug I bought in 1955. pounding code out with my thumb and finger.

Be weary of the websites that are CHARGING you to for their "help" with getting a visa.

There may be a change in the law, but check through the Russian embassy website to verify what you must/must not do to acquire a visa. Also, check their competitors to see if they're now requiring certain "new rules."

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

If the government is going to force me to exercise my "right" to health care, then they better start requiring people to exercise their Right to Bear Arms. - "Where's my public option rifle?"

Hi Slim

I've always used gotorussia in Atlanta and have never had any problems and always used an Invitational Visa. I've never had any problems in my fiance's city getting it registered with Ovir. I've been enough times they actually smile at me when we go in the door to register it. The same young girl always handles my registration...easy in and out...course, it helps to show-up with a box of chocolate candy...nothing but females in the office.

What some of us are reading about the visa change basically is my fiance has to call Ovir within 24 hours to let them know I've left Russia or I could be banned from entering Russia again. I've got to go to Atlanta this week so I'm going to stop by their office and discuss it wth them.

Thanks for your reply...and I will agree with you...it's easy to get scammed by the "visa go getter's" in the internet.
