Minor criminal record for the petitioner a problem?

5 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

I am 37 and live in the USA. I have a couple misdemeanors from when I was 19 and 28. My girlfriend lives in the Dominican Republic. I want her to come be with me in the USA. Will this be a problem for the applications/interview etc? Obviously, I can't do anything about it now, past is the past. Thoughts?

Thank you!

It would be more of a concern if it were the beneficiary's criminal history, I don't believe you as the petitioner will experience problems with this.
