Hello everyone! Our case finally became "ready" at the embassy today. My fiancé completed his medical on the 3rd and then tonight filled out and submitted the DS-160 and form of readiness. We keep seeing things about "packet 3" is this something else we need to be looking out for in the mail and sending something back physically to the embassy or is it just telling us to fill out the two forms online? ive seen on the forum the link that you get in packet three but on there it says "do not send any of these documents to the embassy. Bring them along to your interview" so I'm a little confused on if/what we need to be sending to the embassy. We're just trying to stay ahead of the game. Thank you!

Have you read the pinned K1 guide. This post explains "packet 3". http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/?p=6741216

Note: do not call DOS as stated in the K1 guide. They won't talk to you anymore.

And look at the link to your K1 instructions on the website. It's in the post. London tells you what to do...Step 1, Step2, .........

The packet three basically provides you a formal link to the embassy website, which tells you the nesseccary steps to take prior to the interview, but you've already taken those steps. If it helps clarify what it is exactly, I can scan and send you my copy. Packet 4, far as I'm aware, is your appointment letter.
