Hey all!

I do not know if this is the correct forum to post this, but i am confused what the I-94 is all about. My fiance arrived here this past week and he told me that he did not receive that paper or anything like it. They Just stamp his passport. I know we need this form to fill get a SSN, can anyone please explain!

My husband got his about 5 days after he got in. We did have to try a few times before it was actually in the sytem. You can give it a try and see if his is in already.

How long did it take for it to update in the system for you? My fiancee got here on Thursday (1/8/15) and ours isn't updated yet. Does it normally take about a week or so, or should we start thinking of heading to our closest deferred inspection station to get things sorted out? Thanks!

For me it took 6 days after his POE, so i would say it is about a week. I suggest you wait a few more days and after that you should look for other options. I am not so familiar with the 1-94, so I am not sure if it is for CR-1 as well.
