called and waited over 3 hrs for Teir 2 agent. After long hours of wait, heavily accented man picked up and he said this case is approved already on DEC 11th, LOL

I asked him that is recommended approval and what about the supervisor review? I also asked him if if my wife is placed in line for oath? He says I know how this works and her oath is not scheduled and repeats what he said and hangs up.

Seems like the agent was bit clueless about it. I doubt the agent was a Teir 2 agent. Because when she called 10 days ago and spoke to a tier 2 agent, that agent told her her case is waiting for supervisor review even though she was given recommended approval on Dec 11th.

update:

I think there is finally a light in the tunnel here

ONline and phone status still says interveiw scheduled in NOV, never changed and no email what soever BUT called and spoke to Tier 2 today . She told me supervisor review has completed and in line for oath. asked me if I received my N400 service request mail from USCIS and mailed on Jan 29th. Told her not yet, she read to me the letter which says based on infopass appointment , supervisor has reveiwed and put the applicant inline for oath.!

Praying and hoping I get the mail today or tomorrow and it shows Oath date!

But as again, no email confirmation even though I gave them, online and phone case status still hasn't changed for over month 3 months. It still says interveiw scheduled on NOV 3rd and doesn't stay in line for oath or supervisor recompleted or anything like that

finger crossed!

Hi Citizenship1:

Very good. Finally good news.

did you finish oath ceremony? what date you got oath letter in mail and when was the ceremony?

thanks!

BUT

I've been waiting for 3 months for them to put me "in line" for an appointment. Is it just that the Chicago office is really slow and disorganized?

I htink you get better and faster treatment if you live in smaller states. Most of them give you same day oath after interview.

Big cities don't like legal immigrants!

Didn't receive the letter in my mailbox today the Tier 2 agent says mailed by CHicago office on 29th. Letters within chicago takes one day including saturday delivery.

The letter is their response for my infopass and tier 2 service request. It was supposed to say supervisor reveiwed and in line for oath.

But my online & phone status still shows interview scheduled in NOV! Don't think tis a real progress here

anyone knows when do you get oath letter after supervisor review completion?I don't even know whats going on here with wife's case. Gave interview 55 days ago and approved. Never heared anything back. No emai. The online status still says interveiw scheduled in NOV. I did infopass and Tier 2 service request 2 weeks ago. One of the tier 2 agent i spoke to last week told me case is waiting for oath schedule after finising supervisor review and the local USCIS office mailed me a letter confirming that on Jan 29th. I never got the letter, checked my mail box. It takes only 1 day including SAT to get letter within the city. The online and phone status is not supposed to changed to "waiting for oath or supervisor review" than? Today I spoke to a teir 2 agent again. He told me the case is still pending and asked me to do infopass if I have questions. He didn't even tell me supervisor is complete or waiting for oath. THis is a nightmare . DOn't know what is actually going on

Finally after 62 days of interveiw approval, after 2 infopass & 2 times congressional inquiry , just tried another daily call to USCIS which said" on FEB10th you were scheduled for oath". The greeter agent also confirmed although she couldn't tell me the date of ceremony. asked for teir 2 but wait time says 5 hour or so. Does the Tier agent know the date of the cermony? Do they have the exact info? I normally bypass the phone status and try to bypass the greeter"customer service agent".

Unfortunately although USCIS now did help me, damage is already done since my travel date is just couple of weeks away and no plane ticket. I am sure the rate will be 2 to 3 times higher now .

I hope those with clean record don't have to go thru what I went thru.

So for the record, USCIS did not lie in response to your congressman's inquiry, right? They accurately responded that you were in line for oath scheduling last week. I can't find it because you post updates on so many different threads, but you said that USCIS had lied about your case status recently. I'm glad you're scheduled, but it's important to correct that claim in case it dissuades others from contacting their congressperson when necessary.
