Hi anyone here who got their interview date and was able.to resched their interview ,ealier than the assigned date? My interview date is on feb 25 and was planning to move it at least 1st week of feb.

im done with medical and my case file was sent to consulate last dec 30. Guess it will.arrive before january ends.thanks

Your interview date was scheduled by NVC, you can not reschedule it yourself. You can try calling the embassy about this.

If you can find an earlier date, go for it. Just remember that it's always risky because slots get taken fast.

Not true, immigrant visas are scheduled by NVC.

Yes we are initially scheduled by NVC but in ustraveldocs website, there is an option for IV to pick dates =)

I am only saying call the embassy on this because I know of a few others that tried "rescheduling" to an earlier date and the embassy turned them away when they showed up and told them to come back on the date NVC scheduled.

Thnx i will surely call them =) the reason perhaps they were turned down is because their physical file was not yet received by manila u.sem =)
