For the affidavit of support my co sponsor earns 23,500 and the probity guid lines is 19 ish for 2 people but the co sponsor "partially" supports one of her kids. This makes me wonder if the 125% isn't 19k any more and could possibly be for 3 people which is 24,500, which would put my sponsor below 125%. She also wrote down property owned over 65k which may help but I was wondering if anyone has any info to help. To make that all a little more confusing, on the co sponsors tax return it says she supports someone different, my fiancé (this was before she moved out and got a job) would that also affect the decision? My interview is next Friday so I am getting nervous :(

The law as written for a fiancé visa in the Foreign Affairs Manual is very general and only says the officer must be convinced you will not become a public charge. When you read all the stuff about poverty guidelines, household size, etc--that is all from the I-864 affidavit of support which has qualifications clearly written out in the immigration law.

So it is difficult to say what the officer who interviews you will accept as enough to convince him/her you will not become a public charge. It could vary from officer to officer within the same embassy as it is a totally subjective decision. You're just going to have to bring the best you've got and talk it out at the interview. They don't seem overly rigid in London, so maybe you are fine. If they aren't convinced then they could ask you to get an additional sponsor. Take evidence of anything you and you fiancé have in savings or assets and the combination of all might help.

Edit: forgot to say you will need the stricter I-864 for your adjustment of status.
