Employment last five years--I-129F

My fiance worked for 7 different companies in the last five years (I know that is a lot ). Unfortunately, he doesn't remember the months he was employed. The employment records we do have only lists the year of employment, not the month. My question is: How important is it to have the exact month of employment?

Important but not THAT important. If he could like...contact his former work places and ask about it, would be best, tho. But if not, just put the approximate months..make a smart guess. I believe they would not make any fuss over working history.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to get information for 4 of the 7, so I just take wild guesses on the remaining.

I'm in the same boat, Agua Fria...I'm just going to do the best I can.

I too have to attach an additional sheet for his employment, as he's had more jobs than lines. For some of them, he was never even on the official pay roll, so for those periods I'm just going to put unemployed.

I whimpered about this elsewhere and was told no biggie...has this ever presented a problem for anyone else?

Actually, don't tell me...it'll just make me worry about something I can't do anything about!

I pretty much did the same thing you did. I had plenty of unemployment lines. I attached an extra sheet w/ a chart similar to the one on the application. I mailed my application yesterday, so I'm praying all goes well. I'll let you know.
