hi, im married but did not change marital status because my husband filed annulment and still ongoing so im single in my tax returns. what will I indicate in my N 400for naturalization? pls help.

You're still married until the annulment is granted... If you file as single while you're still married I think you should correct it before you're accused of misrepresentation or something... I guess these things are confusing so it's best to always consult before acting...

You need to file taxes using your status for the year in question, i.e. married.

In regards to the N400, depending on the status with which you entered the US, if the annulment is granted it may affect your ability to keep your residence and consequently, to become a USC.

what is the reason he decided to annul rather than plain divorce? If annulment is due to fraud it will have consequences down the line; but if it is due to other reasons say religion or so, then it will not affect you negatively...
