I filed I-130 for my parents last year and they were approved. After half year, I received a notice to file addtional documents for both of them, including affidavid of Support. So I filed same I-864 for both of them, but sent in two emails since they have different case number. I used my father as principle immigrant and my mother as family to come with him. But today, I received a letter from NVC said that my mother's case is completed and ready for the interviw. My mother need to bring a new AOS for interview. And my father is still missing some evidence because of the I-864 that my mother should not be a family or spouse to come with him. In this case, should I file a new I-864 for my father that exclude my mother on that? And also prepare a I-864 for my mother as a principle immigrant for the interview?

I also try to call them in (603) 334-0700, but it's always in busy line, the call kept canceling.. Please help me here, I have been waiting for this case for more than one year.

yes, one I-864 on each human, treated seperate.

2 humans? 2 I-864's .

the math starts to get interesting, but luckily you have some time to get it sorted - no one has an appointment yet.

casefile numbers start with GUZ or GZO ? If GUZ - expect a longish wait - maybe 4 to 6 more months.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thank you for replying, Darnell..

and I resent a corrected I-864 for my dad two days ago. Hope this time they can review it faster.

Last time I sent them corrected I-864 was on September, and get response in this week.

The case number was start with GUZ,and changed to GZO three months ago when I first received the notice to correct the I-864...

Do you know how long it takes to the interview from now?

I haven't received anything about the interview in Guangzhou...

One more question.. My parents cannot speak any English and they barely understand maderain.. Can then bring someone else to translate for them? If yes, can the translator be someone biologically related to them?

NVC said 'bring updated to interview' - so don't send off again to NVC.

Since is GZO Casefile Number, NVC will set the appointment within 30 days after 'case complete' timetick, for a date 20 to 45 days out.

Since is EP case, parents must present all stuff submitted via EP on interview day - but you'll get instructions about it .

Vice-Consuls speak Mandarin or Cantonese - you need another dialect? if yes, ask via the GUZ IV email webform thingie prior, as soon as you know the interview date.

for now, yes, they are in different queues, as is separate casefiles.

I suggest you call in to NVC on Monday, ask for a supervisor, and ask that the casefiles be married together - as this will ensure/insure appointment date together.

I tried million times to call them at different time, but it is always in busy line.. it's not like other customer services that put you in the holding line.. it's just busy line then hang up automatically.. is it normal?

for them, yes, as they are swamped.

might want to change yer gear, have a phone system that handles auto-redial on busy.

you got a checklist letter response , asking for stuff? is that right? that's gonna delay that casefile at NVC. currently 60 days to review anything submitted with a checklist letter.
