Wrong DS-160 number

I have a bit of a complex problem... I appeared for an interview at London for a non-immigrant visa interview on 3rd of November and my case was sent for administrative processing and I was given a batch number.

On the Usvisa-info website, I made an error while putting in the DS-160 number. I have been checking the status of this 'wrong' DS-160 and saw that this was "ISSUED". On the 26th of november, I received an email telling me to "send passport" without any additional documents. (In the UK, if your case goes for admin processing, they return your passport and instruct you to send it later once the visa is ready to be issued). In addition to the email, there is another case report status form online where you can check the progress of the admin processing using your "batch number" (not DS-160 number). This case report has also been updated to "send passport" for my batch number.
Now, my passport has been received at the embassy on 28th Nov (friday). Only today I have realised the mistake I have made with the DS-160 number on the usvisa-info website. So my question is - is my case already ready for visa issuance (like the email states) or was that email to "send passport" actually meant for the the wrong DS-160 number (that shows"issued") that I had put into the usvisa-info website ? My correct DS-160 number still shows "admin processing" on the CEAC tracker. Does it change to "issued" only after the visa has been put into the passport? Or does it first change to issued, and then they ask us to send passport? Is there any way I can find out who my visa officer is ?
The problem after I got the email to send passport, I have already booked my air tickets and accommodation in the US. Basically, am a nervous wreck now. And I hope someone here is able to help me. As usual, the helpline is not very helpful.
Thank you

I am only guessing that the CEAC status updates for London are the same for non-immigrant processing as well as those handled by the immigrant visa unit.

IVU typical process: Issued means the visa has been printed and put in the passport. Next step is hand off to the courier for delivery. A two business day lag can be expected for that, so while not same day, it should be soon after your status changes to issued.

And I think any email sent to you is to be believed over any CEAC check. I can't even think how you checking a status would tie your email to another case.

Hi Nick,

Perhaps I failed to explain properly. It's not the CEAC check on my part that would tie the email to another case. I was thinking it could me be entering the wrong DS-160 number into the USVISA-INFO website ??
