Hi folks!

Preparing myself for the K1 interview in Rio de Janeiro / Brazil. Some people say that the sworn statement needs to be signed right there in front of the Consul. Other people say it has to be "certified" beforehand. Can I just take a form and fill it out there? Is that ok? Has anyone done it this way?

Nov 28 2017: Biometrics appt.

Aug 25 2018: Extension letter received

Jul 25, 2015: EAD approval received in the mail today (dated Jul 21)

Sep 14, 2015: Notice of Potential Interview Waiver received.
Oct 20, 2015: RFE requesting nem medical (Medical only expires in Jan?!)
Nov 5, 2015: Mailed new medical
Nov 13, 2015: Status changed to CASE APPROVED...?? :o 190 DAYS AFTER FILING AOS - 532 DAYS AFTER FILING K1!

Nov 19, 2015: Status changed to Card mailed

Jun 05, 2014: NOA1 text & email (TSC)
Jun 10, 2014: Alien Registration number changed

Nov 03, 2014: NOA2 email: APPROVED! 151 days after NOA1

Nov 06, 2014: NOA2 Hard copy

Nov 10, 2014: USCIS sent case to NVC

Nov 26, 2014: Case received by NVC

Dec 1, 2014: NVC sent case to Rio de Janeiro Consulate

Dec 4, 2014: Rio de Janeiro Consulate received case

Dec 9, 2014: Consulate scheduled interview, email received by applicant
Dec 19, 2014:Packet 4 received (mail) by beneficiary

Jan 26, 2015: Medical

Feb 3, 2015: INTERVIEW - APPROVED! Woo hoo!!! 248 DAYS AFTER FILING

Feb 11, 2015: Email from Post Office with tracking # for passport

Feb 12, 2015: Passport and brown envelope received

Feb 26, 2015: ARRIVAL! POE ATL.
