Salam 'Alaykum, Hello everyone !
My fiancee has an Iphone Application called " USCIS helper ", and yesterday she got a notification from that app that says " the status of your case has changed " and when she tries to check the app shows an error because the main website of the USCIS is down, I tried to check online too but the website doesn't work. we are so confused and worried and excited in the same time to know what's going on with our case. we can't call them now because of the holidays. what do you guys think it can be ? I'm sure that notification didn't come from nothing..

Though others have said that the automated system is wrong as well, I haven't found that to be the case. I've spoken with a tier 2 agent and listened to the automation and both are saying the same thing. The agent didn't tell me that they weren't able to look our information up.

You can try calling the USCIS hotline, entering your case number and listened to the automated case status update. If you're in the USA, it's free anyway and there's isn't a wait so it's worth a shot.
