i was a permanet resident and i had my citizenship like last year but my daughter is now 3 years old. does anyone know how to get my little girl citizenship? what form i need and what documents do i need? please help

If your daughter is a permanent resident she may already be a citizen (she may have become one automatically when you became a citizen).

She has to be a legal permanent resident and in your care.

You have two choices:

-You can apply for a Certificate of Naturalization through the N-600 process (this is optional)

-You can use your Naturalization Certificate, her green card, and her birth certificate to directly apply for a US passport

Both documents serve as proof of citizenship but the passport is much cheaper. However, the certificate does not expire.

Check if she qualifies buy looking at the information on this link:

Correction:

The N-600 is for a Certtificate of Citizenship, not a Certificate of Naturalization.

Sorry for the typo!
