Hi everyone,

My girlfriend is trying to schedule her vacation in Russia to visit here in the U.S. She's currently a flight attendant and flies to several countries regularly (Thailand, Vietnam?, Turkey, Egypt, and others I don't remember) They give her a full month of vacation time every several months, but the problem comes that they do not tell her exactly when it will be, for example she flew home yesterday and had no schedule for this coming week so she goes into her office to check and they tell her she is on vacation for the next month. This is obviously frustrating because trying to plan vacation together will be difficult. We think that her next vacation month will be next April. No Plans at this time for getting married, or anything to do with a K1 at this point. She would be visiting me in Dallas, her aunt in Illinois and brother in Boston. She has strong ties to her home, and can show proof of that and financial independency, So my questions:

1) How long does it take to process and receive Russian visa to visit USA?

2) If it is accepted and given to her, how long is it good for before it expires and cannot use it?

My goal is hopefully apply for it in say February or March, and have it ready for when she gets time off in April then be ready to use it.

Thanks!

Jeff
