Time frame of when I will recieve UK interview date

Doesnt seem like there is a lot of consistency with the interview date waiting time in London. My fiance's medical was Nov 24 and his interview is Dec 17.....we were very lucky! Not sure if it was due to the email requesting an earlier date or that we are both in our 40's and they figure we dont have much time left.....LOL
