hi, bjp-23 I am also in the same boat. 221g ap at usa consulate in Mumbai, india

For missing documents (joint sponsor, I-864, civil documents) they will issue visa within 7 days after submitting documents. If its for any other reasons (ongoing relationship, bonafide marriage) time depends on red flags on your case.

how many time they update your case within 30 days

In our case, dates were updated a few times (every 1 to 2 weeks). Some cases are sent back to NVC, and NVC returns them to the consulate once they're done. Dates can be updated during the process, but status will keep showing Administrative Processing until file is ready and returned to the consulate. Each case is probably different.

we are in AP back in Dec 11 for want of additional document. The CO then said, if you send the document, visa will be issued in a week time. Now we got the document dropped on Jan 19, saw the updated date of Jan 22 on CEAC. I don't know how long we have to wait. Appreciate if any of you gone through this and how long one has to wait for visa issue? I know every case could be different.

10/4/13 - I-130 filed

4/17/14 - USCIS shipped case to NVC

10/29 - CC

11/15 - Medical

12/11 - Interview

Kutty - Petitioner
