Two checks cashed by VSC

I thought it would be a good idea to post this.

I sent my I-751 on 22nd. It arrived next day at VSC, and the two checks I sent were cashed promptly two days later on 25nd.

VSC at least cashed checks pretty fast.

Hope they are fast in sending out NOAs too!

Does the receipt no. that I need to input in the USCIS case status alert web page is given on NOA?

I can see some handwritten numbers in the image of my cashed check.

But I think I heard people say that those numbers don't work.

---------------------------------------------

Jan 22 - Send in I-751 via express mail.

Jan 23 - Received at VSC (according to USPS).

Jan 25 - Two Checks ($205 & $70) cashed by USCIS.

So far, I have only got one blue receipt for biometrics fee $70 although two checks are both cashed.

I sent in two checks because I sent in one $275 check before, and my package was returned with the note saying that the fee is $205. (That was the time that this kind of thing happened to many people. The new form says the fee is $275, but service centers were still regarding $205 as the correct fee.) So, I did not want to repeat what I have already done.

I would like to have another receipt saying that they got $205 for I-751 before NOA.

But nothing happened yet. It seems that those sent one check got a receipt for $275 for both I-751 and biometrics though.

I will post here again if I get another receipt.

Good luck to you all!
