Job change before interview

Hi all

My fiancée(petitioner) is considering changing jobs. I have recently submitted readiness form, so our interview in London shouldn't be too long. Will a job change be problematic? If she got a new job, would we need a letter from her new employers? and would the small amount of time working for them be an issue? and what about adjustment of status when in the US, will a recent job change effect that?

Also, one more thing. How long will it take for us to get an interview date after submitting the readiness form?

Thanks

Hi,

There should be no issues, just make sure she has a letter from her employer and the last few paystubs. Changing jobs isn't bad, especially if she moved up in the payscale!

The interview date depends on the embassy and how busy they are. Some embassies take longer than others. If you fill out your timeline, we'd be able to better prepare you.

London embassy from what I've seen is typically 3-4 weeks.
