I did DCF through South Africa. There aren't that many South African people here, but you can find some reviews on the Embassy.

Have you started to apply for your Police Clearance? And do you have your long form birth certificate?

I do have the police clearance but still working on the bc, its been a pain, home affairs takes 6 months but I'm getting help to expedite it.

The website says 6-8 weeks do you think that is incorrect? Just wondering if I should have another company help me as well. We are living in South Africa.

Kels2487, which website is this?

I would look at these websites I listed below for help with the birth certificate. Also you will be waiting at least 6 month more like 9 months if you go through Home Affairs. So I would really use a service to obtain one for you.

Home affairs website, and we went in yesterday to ask current processing times. She said "6 weeks" but her tone/body language/and eyes told me "more like 6 months...." hahah she didn't seem too confident. So we walked away and decided to use a third party. Not willing to take that risk especially after the advice I've read on VisaJourney.

Thanks for the help, really appreciate it!
