Hi,

So my husband had his interview in sep 29 in Baghdad US embassy after finishing the interview CO told him that he got approved but she still needs his police certificate because it expired and his ID translated in english she handed him 221G form with check marks for both thes documents thats she asked for she told him to mail it along with his passport, so he did mail everything a week later due to holidays in baghdad I checked the case status a day after he sent the doc it was still saying

AP sep 28

Checked yesterday it got changed to

AP oct 15

I think that means they recived the passport along with documents

When do you think they will issue the visa for him ?

CO told him it can take up to 2 weeks but I start getting worried after reading few stories about people being stuck in AP for few months, it is frustrating because I stayed in Jordan and I am pregnant and he can't travel since they took his passport I am praying that he will get it soon.

Thanks.

If they said 2 weeks, it's probably 2 weeks after they received the docs or started reviewing them. If the expired PC was the only issue, they should approve it very soon.
