The Hong Kong embassy received our petition on September 30 and my fiancé hasn't received packet 3 yet. Does anyone know how long it takes to get packet 3 in Hong Kong? She has already completed the DS 160.

I think US consulate just simly answer u generally ... but i did receive the packet 3 by post.. it has the checklist, next step advice and where to apply the police certificate ..... i received that on Oct. 3 friday after work.. I then took half day off on Monday to apply the police certificate .. posted everything that consulate requested at the same day afternnon ...then i got the packet 4 last friday with interview appointment day and medical check up info.,, i then go and do the medical.check.this momday morning .... so, it defintely move quick after you get the packet 3.. normally comes on friday .. my packet 3 and 4 also delivered on friday ... so, no worries.. its on the way now.... this friday u will get it
