Thanks for all your help!

So basically i ONLY send the documents for the I-130 now? and just wait and when that gets approved etc i apply for the f2a? Am i missing anything or will it all be explained down the line?

Yes, now you file a petition (Form I-130 plus other documents).

There is not a guide exactly for your situation so use this page for help in knowing what to put together. See the list enclosed in a box. It is written for US citizens, so you will not do #4 or #5 which is prove you are a citizen. You will do #6 which is prove you are a permanent resident.

You will not apply for a visa. Your husband in the UK is the one who needs a visa. He applies. (You may plan to help him with the forms, but it is HIS application.). That will come later...like 2016. The forms, fees and procedures could change by then so just get the first part done and learn the rest when he is eligible.
