Hallo all,

we just recived Packet 3 from the embassy and we are trying to make everything ready to send back. There are two steps in the german checklist that aren't clear to us, maybe somebody could help us

10. PAYMENT OF VISA APPLICATION FEE:

The application fee (per applicant) for a fiancé(e) visa must be paid in the local currency equivalent. To obtain the current fee and Euro equivalent amount pleaseseethe following websites:http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1263.html,

http://germany.usembassy.gov/visa/iv/fees/,http://www.ustraveldocs.com/de/de-niv-visafeeinfo.asp.This fee must be paid prior to the interview appointment. After paying the fee, you will see a “Transaction is complete” screen with a link to a PDF file. Please submit a print-out of the PDF file.In order to pay the fee, you must create a profile with our Visa Service Provider:http://www.ustraveldocs.com/deInformation on fee payment process is available at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/de/de-niv-visafeeinfo.asp.

Cash will not be accepted.

I created the profile on the webside, paid throug a bank transfer on Thursday, got an e-mail on Monday, that my MRV is active, went back ti the webside and all I got was : Your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. You will receive an email once your request is approved.

No Transaction complete screen, no PDF link, no nothing. All I got was an Online banking Funds Transfer & cash Deposid Instruction, with my CGI reference number, nothing else, and I don't know now what should i send beck to the consular with the other documents.

11. Document Delivery Address (for the return envelope): Once you have been scheduled for an interview appointment, you must provide an address where you want your visa package to be delivered after issuance. Our office uses the online services of our Visa Service Provider. Please visit ustravelsdocs to register.

In the profile (see Step 10), enter the mailing address. You should specify your document delivery address prior to your interview. You will need your ImmigrantCase Number to enter your document delivery address. Please include a copy of your registration confirmation page with the other documents that you send to the Consulate before your interview.
If your visa application is approved at the conclusion of your interview, Deutsche
Post will deliver your passport containing the visa and other documents in a packet to you at the address you provided. You do not have to pay for this free delivery service

So as i said before, I completed my profile, but I didn't get any Confirmation page,so what should I send?

Please help me !

Hi good people of the k1 journey, could you please share the checklist of documents needed to submit after the letter from the embassy has been received.

I have submitted ds 160 and paid the fees, I am now in the process of figuring out documents specifically needed for frankfurt. The link to the website is not working (germany.usembassy.gov/visa/iv/step4).

More concretely, what do I need to do to push the process along aside from having submitted ds 160 and the request and payment for an interview? The letter I received from the us embassy provides a link (above, not working) and a form (which only asks for a copy of my passport and a list of places I lived in for

more than 6 months since the age of 16).

Your help is invaluable!

Thank you very much in advance!
