It was someones poor attempt to bring back to life a good site that went bad.

How did it go bad? I was a member of the forum but didn't visit frequently. One member stands out for me, Mr. Ray Bacon, he was very helpful. Always pleasant and kind, and ready to answer questions that have been asked for the nth time, he was very patient.

Mr Bacon is a Immigration Guruand can be found at BNN - http://www.mybnn.net/forum/index.php, and Mag Anak - http://www.mag-anak.org/

Ray Bacon is awesome. He's very knowledgeable on the immigration process and a nice guy to boot. He is assisting my wife and I with our process.

Clearly she is the better half since she speaks perfect English and know very little Bisaya, let alone Tagolog.

Sorry...don't mean to hijack this thread but realistically, I know that within a generation, Jinky's native language will be lost from our children. She intends on speaking it to Job and if we have a child, but if it's not being spoken outside of the house, I don't see how it will be retained.

Why the hate of the new forum? I guess there's a story behind it? If there's a link I'll be glad to read but I don't understand.

I am a member of Asawa and I felt sad when it closed down... It will be wonderful to see it running again... Mr. Bacon was of great help during those times that we were in the process of gathering things up for our paperwork.
