Hello All,

I believe in the N-400 application they ask if you owe any taxes. Does this include estimated taxes?

My wife has a name change document and divorce document from Ukraine. They are both notarized translations. Do I have to send the notarized copies with the N-400 application or can I send copies?

Thank you in advance.

I would say any taxes. You can explain to the IO better at the interview if you need to. I know they were telling me stuff about my life that i did not even know. lol. So yeah, they do a good background check.

I think regular copies are good. If they need more they might ask you to bring the originals to the interview like they did ask me.

I'm confused now. My acountant told me that estimated taxes for the current year are not considered overdue since 2014 is not yeat over. I'm not sure what to do now. Does USCIS look at this situtaion differently.

I am also wondering about dates of employment. We know the month and year she worked at each of her jobs, but not the day. Will this pass? Since I am completing the application on the computer, will I be able to just put the month and day?

Thank you!
