Hi VJ friends...I have a question about NBI and police certificate. How old can the NBI and police certificate be for the interview? Let's just say her interview is next month and her NBI and police cert issued let's say may 2014, what do u think?is it good to go or she need to get new one. Any input from here will be highly appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure what the requirement is for USEM because I believe this is up to the embassy to decide. For example, here in the DR I think it can't be more than 30 days old and they require an updated one for the interview. There are plenty of people from the Philippines here that can clarify what their specific requirement is. Good luck.

This does not constitute legal advice.

To make it sure just get a new one updated by this month if she did her interview by next month. Because USEM asked anything they want, to make it sure just get a new one NBI and police certificate that was not expensive. And anyway, additional updated senomer if you are already married because im pretty sure US embassy ask that. Good Luck
