Hi everyone, I were filled the I129F and G-1145 (e-notice) form and mailed at Sep 05, 2014. But until now I did not get any text/ email/ paper notice. Do anyone know where I can check the USCIS received my application form or not?

Thanks.

Hi,

If you sent it via priority mail or something similar, you could check the tracking number to check if it was delivered already, which it should have by now. The status text/email can take a week after delivery to show up. The NOA1 can take like 2 weeks by mail.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Well if you sent it by regular first class mail and didn't get a tracking number, then you have to wait for the text/email or the NOA1 to come in the mail. I would give it until the end of this week to receive something before you call customer service.

Also, in the future to avoid this kind of issue, please send them through priority or express mail from the post office. It comes with delivery confirmation so that you know if your package was at least delivered and you don't get concerned about it being lost. It's more secure than regular mail and the delivery is faster.

First class mail usually takes about 3 business days so if you sent it on the 5th they may not have gotten it until the 10th, you should receive the text/email sometime this week, hopefully. If not, like I said you can contact customer service and see if they have the package.

Another way you could check is, did you send a check or money order? Because if you sent a check, you can check with your bank to see if it was cashed. I'm not sure if there's a way to check if the money order was cashed though.
