Hello all,

I would like to request for my case to be expedited because I need to have a high risk surgery and need the help of my husband since the recovery process is 3 months. We have 3 small children (2 year old twins and a 1 tear old) I have no way to take of the 3 babies alone after a major surgery. I have some family but they cannot dedicate their time as my husband can. Is this grounds to have my case expedited?

Another question is, If I can expedite and it is approved will the NVC send all of my documents to the Embassy? I have sent in my corrected AOS and its scan date was 09/04/2014. Since it has not yet been reviewed does expediting help it get reviewed faster and then sent to the embassy? What if there is another checklist?

Is it better for me to just wait as I have read so many horror stories with the expedited process?

Go ahead and request your expedite, I bet it will be approved. Do you have the email for expedite.

I was expedited and it was not a nightmare actually made my process soo much easier and faster.
