Hi I am also in going to file I-751 in Nov. I have few questions:

1. is it required to have affidavits?

2. Can i include my son in my wife's application as dependent regardless of age? both came to us at same time.

hi are you guys starting to gather all of ur documents... share some thoughts and cover letter please thank you

Cover letters are way over rated. I have filed 4 separate petitions and never use a cover letter for anything........

My wife and I just filed her I-751.

Provided copy of her green card front and back, joint deed on house, joint car insurance, joint home insurance, joint back account, etc.......

Affidavits are not a must, but can be handy. We did affidavits, better to have it, and it's not that big pain the butt....other paper evidences were a lot more painful. Here, we just asked 4 people and they did it in a day or two all notarized. While they are not the strongest evidences, but if you get some and they are well written they can help. It's like asking if you should have a sweater along with you the next day when there could be some clouds, but not promised. I guess better to take it along in case it cools down, then be cold. And it is not that hard to have it as an extra thing even if it turns out it was not needed. Eh? :)
