Process after approval of k1 visa by NVC at Jamaica embassy

File in Jamaica since Aug 20th. My fiancé has not received his packet in the mail as of today. I've contacted the embassy twice, their response week before last was to give the mail until September 3rd to get to Montego Bay as the mailed the packet on August 20th. Anyone with this issue and how was it solved?

We had the same problem, it took 3 weeks to get it. The embassy never emailed us the paperwork. We filled out our stuff anyway, and emailed them the required stuff for interview.

My fiancé sub tie the DS160 online. But don't he need thr paperwork from the embassy which we are suppose to get via mail to do his medical and police clearance?

Thanks Pinkrlion for responding. The information was very informative. I guess I'm frustrated with the whole process. We waited 6 months and 2 weeks for NOA 2. Another month for NVC to send our file to Jamaica. Our case says ready for interview but yet to receive any packet in the mail. I emailed the Jamaica embassy August 26th and they responded that they were putting the packet in the mail and give the mail until Sept 3 to be delivered. I mailed them again after Sept 3rd, they said to fill out DS160 and that the mail was sent on August 20th. Two different stories right there. The second email also told us after filling out DS160 to also fill out Ds260. I had to call NVC for an invoice no. To log into that application. When my finance could not log in, he emailed Jamaica embassy; their response is not to fill out the DS260 which I thought wasn't applicable to us. It's like the information they give is always questionable. So we're waiting on this mail to get from Kingston to Montego Bay- which is God know when!! Frustrating

At least they responded to your email, they only answered mine once, and then we started using his email address and they answered that only one. We have all fell to the misinformation of JA confusing married and fiance. Just follow the links, you will be fine.
