You can come visit and stay as long as CBP allows you but at some point you'll need to return home so that you can collect your visa.

And have the medical and interview!

I submitted our K1 petition whilst in the US at the beginning of a 3 month stay. I then spent the next 9 months going back and forth from the UK to the US. When you eventually have your K1 visa in your passport, you will have to enter the US using that visa and then marry your fiancé within 90 days.

Obviously, there is a lot more to it than that but that is a quick response.

You can, but you need to be careful you don't overstay.. I think that is up to six months in a year. Customs gets a but more suspicious for those coming longer or those without a return ticket, but yes it is possible you can wait out a lot of it in the US.

As stated above, you'll need to come back to Canada for the medical, interview and then to activate the passport.

Good advice on not overstaying. The law is the maximum duration of visitation is 6 months ( 183 days to be exact) . There is not limit on how soon you can come back or how many days you stay in total for a given year, but visiting 10 out of the last 12 months is likely to raise eyebrows at the border.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

Oh I forgot the tax part , too much time in living in the US is deemed "substantial presence" to the IRS and may trigger your need to file US returns and report foreign income. I would get a tax advisors take on that part of the equation, but it has nothing to with USCIS or Visa petitions
