Hello, I have a few questions I would appreciate help with. Perhaps someone has been in my same situation.

My current husband and I (he is Argentine, I'm a US citizen) met here in Argentina 5 years ago and fell in love.

Since then, I have basically lived here with him on a tourist visa. I've always left the country every 3 months, then come back to renew the visa.

I am self-employed and work over the internet, so I can be located anywhere for work, as long as I'm near a computer.

I pay US federal income taxes, all my bank accounts etc are based in the USA (I have no financial ties here), I've voted in the US presidential election (2012), and I've never established any type of residency here.

However I have signed many short term rental contracts here from real estate agencies that rent exclusively to tourists (they are furnished etc), where I have lived with my husband the last 5 years.

I submitted these as evidence.

On the I-864 I know it is essential that in order to sponsor my husband, I must establish I have domicile in the USA.

I'm wondering what addresses I should put on the I-864. They know I have been living over here because of the rental agreements (in order to be with my husband), as I've sent that evidence in. But I want them to know my business is established in the USA even though I am working over the internet, that I pay taxes, and I have maintained a residence (my Texas address where my mother is currently living is on all my bills, finances, etc ... this address in Argentina is tied to nothing).

There is the 'Sponsor's Place of Residence' address and the 'Sponsor's Mailing Address'

I want to be very careful that the address I put down don't somehow disqualify me from sponsoring my husband financially ...

Should I put my Mailing Address as my address her in Argentina, and then my Place of Residence my Texas address in the USA ?

Should I also include a written explanation regarding my situation? Again I have established no official 'residency' over here, according to anyone officially I am a tourist, as I'm on a tourist visa.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Kris

Well, I am a US citizen and am living abroad applying for my spouse.

So for me, I put down my overseas address in "mailing address" in Part 1.

I put down my overseas address in "Place of Residence" in Part 4.

Then wrote "USA" as my Country of Domicile in Part 4.

I included an explanatory letter that lists my ties to USA and my efforts to prove that I am in good-faith re-establishing my domicile in USA.
