Hey guys,

I have a question for concern. I started compiling my petition for my fiancee's K129F visa back towards the end of June and she had sent me everything by second week of July. She had dated on the form June 30, 2014. I was planning on sending everything in towards the end of June. Unfortunately, I encountered some health issues and got behind on finishing the petition. I am in good health now and I am in the process of wrapping everything up. Will her dating the form cause any RFE's since I am just now sending it and it is already two months since she dated it? I have not dated my forms just in case any setbacks happen. Your response is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

thanks guys! rather than making another thread, to those who front loaded their petitions, how did u package and put it together? with all my evidence combined, it is about almost 5-6 inches thick. i know it is a bit overkill, however i want to make sure this goes as quick and smoothly as possible. thanks for those who reply to this question!

Its best to keep your petition organized. Keep all your required documents for the I-129F petition near the front, and at the end have a separate section for your relationship proof. From your other posts, I see that your fiancée is Filipina. You don't need to submit so much evidence of a relationship, and you are right it is overkill. My entire petition was around 70 pages, with only about 40 of it relationship proof. I submitted Viber and Skype chats, one page per month of each. I also submitted cell phone records when I called her, as well as a few photos of us. We didn't have any problems with the petition, nor with the interview process.

Our petition was in a clear plastic sleeve. You just have to make sure it gets there securely and that it is easy for the adjudicator to take it out and rearrange them anyway they please. 5-6 inches is a lot

Agreed with Zedayn and iammrsregi. 5-6" is way too much. Remember: Quality over quantity. What the uscis wants to see is that you guys are in a genuine and loving relationship, and not that you guys talk a lot or everyday since you two met. Also, these conversations are only secondary evidences and won't be so crucial until the embassy stage. Choose wisely between your modes of communication. In our case, we only chose exchanges on special occasions like Christmas, Valentine's, Anniversary and those with our travel plans. Total of 30-40 pages for a course of 4 years relationship.

In putting the package together, we only used paperclips to bind the papers, and slid everything in an envelope.

Create a cover letter including everything that's in the packet. List items in the cover letter in the order they are in the stack of papers. This is our AOS packet, but our K-1 petition paperwork looked similar (so far as cover letter, and using tabs to indicate where everything was). Don't use staples, don't use anything they'll have to take apart and throw away. (Create less work, not more.)

thanks for all the responses guys. I unfortunately used staples however they were for the western union receipts only bc each transaction email was 4 pages long. I overkilled it because well, I just want to have enough proof and pray that the process goes faster and also i can get a bit OCD at times hehe. whats taking up alot is the FB chats bc i had selectively printed out the key moments where it shows our friendship blossoming into a relationship. 3 months into our relationship, we switched to talking on the phone and less on FB. i used prong fastener bases to hold together the thicker packets like the phone records. as for the trip evidence, i have everything to a T from passport stamp copies from both of our passports to luggage tags to receipts from when we went out. pray and wish me luck guys. its driving each other crazy being away from each other, even more so when she's ill.
