Hi everyone,

I have two questions that I need some help with :)

I recently got a job transfer, I still work for the same company I listed on my N400 application but I work at another office, do I need to file something or do I have to wait till the interview?

The second question is, I had my fingerprints done on June 26th and there's no change of status on my case, still showing as Initial Review, I did get the yellow letter saying to bring some documents to my interview and a friend of mine that filed a few weeks ago is already having her interview on September the 4th... she's been a resident for 5 years and I have been a resident for 3 years and applied 70 days before my 3rd anniversary, I wonder if that's why my case is going slower? Does it matter if you apply under the 90 days window?

Is it time to call USCIS and see what's going on?

Thank for all your help, I really appreciate it!

Have you moved to a different address too? If yes then you have to file change of address. If no then you can just update your new job info at the interview.

They usually put applications in line for interview scheduling about a month before your 3/5 anniversary (if you file during 90 day window) and your interview is then scheduled sometime after your anniversary. How long you are in line depends on how busy your local office is as well as other factors. You can check previous months threads for other people's timelines for your office to see how long it usually takes.

I didn't change my address, just jobs, I'm glad to hear that I can wait till the interview to update that :)

I'll be calling USCIS today, hopefully they give me some useful information, I've heard that they usually are not very helpful.

Thanks for your kind answer missicy :)
