Hello all,

So I finally got my interview letter from NVC for Montreal on September 17.

I keep reading that I have to register to courier prior to my interview; however, my letter mentioned nothing about this.

What should I do?

Will this info come in another letter from the Consulate?

Sorry if this was already asked before =)

25-March-2013 - I-130 petition sent to Chicago Lockbox


29-March-2013 - NOA1


14-November-2013 - Notice of transfer to Nebraska Service Centre from NBC


08-January-2014 - Approved!


21-January-2014 - NVC Received


04-March-2014 - Case # and Invoice # received via phone (Mailed today)


05-March-2014 - DS-261 available and submitted to NVC


12-March-2014 - Sent ENROLL for EP EMAIL


21-March-2014 - AOS fee shows paid


28-March-2014 - Approved for EP Enrollment OPTIN


17-April-2014 - Paid IV fee payment of $230


23-April-2014 - DS-260 available and submitted


15-May-2014-1st Check-list for AOS


21-May-2014-Send AOS checklist item


5-June-2014-Check-list for DS-260


10-June-2014- Sent checklist item


25-June-2014-NVC agent said case was "scanned in" although I am EP


31-July-2014-Case complete - found out via calling NVC


14-August-2014-Received Interview date via calling NVC


29-September-2014-Interview Scheduled (moved from Sept 22 for work reasons)


01-October -2014 - Passport delivered and VISA in hand

Follow the instructions for registering for courier (loomis) services only.

Do this after you file has reached Montreal, as per your CEAC status.

Hey! So I was thinking the same thing as you (we had an interview for an IR-1 just yesterday): it wasn't in the letter, so I don't need it. But you DO need it. It was the VERY first thing I was asked for when we entered the building, and they obviously weren't letting people in without it. So it's ridiculous and frustrating. I really hope most people find out about getting that here. It doesn't come in another letter or anything. You're just somehow supposed to know to do it. How, I have no idea.

04/18/2013 - AOS fee paid
04/21/2013 - AOS paperwork mailed

01/06/2014 - Supporting documents requested

06/24/2014 - Mailed supporting documents

07/03/2014 - Email verifying documents were received

07/10/2014 - Received interview date

08/11/2014 - Scheduled medical

08/15/2014 - Scheduled interview date (APPROVED!)

08/18/2014 - Visa status changes to ISSUED on CEAC website

08/19/2014 - Waybill # for Loomis arrives in e-mail

08/20/2014 - Visa/Passport ready for pick up early morning

Your interview won't show up on ceac but it will say ready when everything is at the consulate.

You mean on the loomis thing? It wont. You register for courier services only as an IR1/CR1.

If you have an interview date and your CEAC status is Ready you can register for loomis for courier services only.
