HELP PLS!!!

Hello everyone! So I just I had my medical examination result. Everything was good so the doctor gave me the sealed envelope with the result for USCIS. When I got home, I happened to check the copies of the papers that were in the sealed envelope that they gave me and I found out that we mistakenly put the wrong apartment number. What should we do? Does it matter? We will put the right apartment number on the rest of the forms that we will submit. Will it helps if we will put a note inside the packet about this error? Any advice pls? Will be much appreciated. I am just a little worried that we will get RFE because of this error. Thank you.

You shouldn't have opened it to begin with, it's given to you sealed for a reason, because now it will look like it's been tampered with.

Please fill in your time line, we have no idea what visa you are for or where you are based, it helps give others information so they can help you.

In my opinion (just as this moment in time) id take it back and get them to recheck and reseal and then you can tell them the mistake you made and then just point out that you saw it was wrong.

Hello, I didn't open it. The clinic photocopied the papers that are in the sealed envelope and gave it to me so I have a copy on what's inside of the sealed envelope, that's when I found out that the we mistakenly put the wrong apartment number. I am thinkin to just put a note stating about the error, coz I don't want to open the sealed envelope just to correct what is wrong coz it would be a different problem if we will open it.

Can I still make a timeline eventhough we haven't submit our AOS petition yet?

You should be able to make a timeline of whatever you've done so far.

Okay if they made you copies just let them know when you talk to them the mistake. It's not a massive one anyway.

I mistakenly forgot to put the day I was born on my biometrics with my visa, they sent me a letter at one point saying I was born on the 6th when it's the 9th, but I never corrected them because it was correct on everything else and they never asked and everything went smoooooothly.

Thank you for your reply. That's what will I do, let them know the mistake. Hopefully they will not charge me. Thank you again and will make a timeline soon. :-)
