Hi all, I need your help!

I am in the process of applying for my Naturalization next month and I was looking on the N-400 where it asks if you have ever been in the military? I have been a green card holder since September of 2007.

1) I went to Boot Camp Feb 2009 and was discharged before completing it. (Entry Level Separation) in April due to physical issues. Now on the form it asks if you have ever been in the military; will I have to say yes?

2) I signed a year's lease on an apartment which will end in October this year but I did not file a change of address with USCIS as I retained my parents address as mine for my records. I will be moving back in with them. Do I fill this in? Will I get penalised for it?

3) I have held some gigs/jobs when I first came to America (During the Recession) some of which I don't recall when I worked (telemarketing) & (temp jobs) I don't remember the exact dates; how do I address this issue on the N-400 as I don't want to omit or lie?

I'm so paranoid right now as I don't want my application rejected when I file. Knowledgeable people please assist me. thanks.

1. I think you should answer yes and send an explanation with it saying what happened, along with supplementary documents showing what happened. I had firearms training as a youth (for example) and did the same...

2. I forgot to change an address with them a few years ago, just send in the change forms NOW (all online now) to bring yourself up to date. Again, a supplementary explanation will do. See the instructions document for filing instructions and what they want the supplemental stuff formatted.

3. I had a job when I first got to the USA that lasted a couple of months and just entered month/year (it was 2002)...

None of this has stopped them from putting me into the process - interview is next week!!!!!

Good luck.
